Camarasaurus was a genus of sauropod that lived in the Late Jurassic period about 150 million years ago. Their bones are found in North America and Europe. The largest species of this genus, C. supremus, reached a maximum length of 23 meters (75 feet) and maximum estimated weight of 47 tonnes (51.8 tons). Camarasaurus had a small, long head with blunt, round snout. Camarasaurus ate twigs and and branches. One time its head got on an Apatosaurus body and was Brontosaurus for a while until they discovered Apatosaurus skull was misplaced and was similar to Diplodocus and whip tail.
